Getting involved with UNC Pauper Players is easier than you may think. We are always looking for people to help. No experience necessary!
Pauper Players produces at least two full-scale musical theater productions per year as well as a musical review in the spring. All UNC-CH undergraduate students are welcome to audition for our shows, regardless of experience level! Specific audition information can be found in the “Auditions” section of our site.
Performance Opportunities
We are always looking for students interested in costume design, lighting design, sound design, stage management, set design, hair and makeup design, and choreography. Whether you’re experienced or trying it for the first time, there’s a place for you to get involved and learn. Production staff applications are under our “Production Staff” tab when available. No experience is necessary!
Production Opportunities
At the end of each spring semester, we open applications for individuals who are interested in serving on our Executive Board. Applications will be posted on our social media and on our website, if you have any questions feel free to contact us via email or direct messages!
Administrative Opportunities
Anyone interested in directing a Pauper Production should submit a proposal to the administrative board. At the end of each school year, we post a show proposal form on our website homepage and social media, where anyone can propose a show they’d like to direct. Everyone is welcome to propose and direct!
